New Pastor at Syracuse Christ Community

The members and friends of Syracuse Christ Community Church of the Nazarene and Upstate New York District Superintendent Kevin C. Dunlop are pleased to announce that Rev. Joshua T. Johnson has accepted the call to be lead pastor of Christ Community church beginning on May 20, 2018.

Pastor Joshua and Jennifer and their children are excited to become part of the church family. Rev. Johnson has been serving as senior pastor at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene in Louden, NH, since 2012, and previously in church assignments in Missouri. Ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene since 2012, he is also a graduate of Gordon College (BA in Biblical Studies and English Language and Literature) and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theoligical Seminary. He served as an adjunct instructor in Biblical Hebrew and was elected to preach the Corlett Senior Sermon while a student at the seminary. Rev. Johnson is also a member of the ENC Board of Trustees. Jennifer works in communications services for a large corporation.
